This is a simple but effective way to discuss and sort the shapes of everyday objects. Students learn about 3D shapes as they sort everyday objects into four categories... - cube - cylinder - sphere - cone This can be used during input or left open as an independent activity.

This is a slide show that makes counting fun including animations and links to halloween songs. My class had such a fun time counting all of the halloween pictures and were very excited to count out the matching cut outs afterwards.
