Product is written to align with A More Perfect Union by Betsy Maestro [AR BL 5.8, interest level 4th-8th]. The Fact Find includes 25 questions, and the Quiz has 22 multiple choice questions. I implemented this product in a 3rd-4th Social Studies combo class, and students expressed that the questions were accessible and followed the text. I do recommend that A More Perfect Union is read twice and that students take the quiz as a pre & post assessment, or as open book/open notes depending on

Daily Math for Multiple Grades (1st-6th/Homeschool/Intervention/SPED)
This daily math practice is what you have been looking for! The document includes 7 flexible worksheets with daily math for Monday-Thursday, an example key on page 8, and a blank Calendar on page 9. Daily numbers are determined by the word of the day. For example "about" is "1+2+15+21+20=59", so "59" would be the number of the day. Writing can be daunting, so I developed this Journal/Paragraph Organizer. It pairs well with a writing toolkit, brainstorming organizers, and word banks. For students that struggle with navigating prompts, I utilize this as a picture journal response. For example, search for a funny animal picture then progressively add more composite images (ie: animal and kid, two kids with expressive faces, etc...). This resource can be implemented in any academic setting to build foundational writing skills

I developed the slides and assessment to accommodate a differentiated pace, that is accessible to supporting student autonomy in a Christian homeschool setting. These slides also have suggested grading/growth strategies, a written prompt selection, scripture alignment, and clearly support the fair treatment of indigenous populations

First 300 Sight Words Mixed and Modified (Bookmarks/Cards)

Experience
My name is Tara Smiley, and I founded Content Exploration in July 2012. I hold an MEd in Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment, and have extensive experience instructing 1st-12th, as well as Adults.
Teaching style
Content Exploration is founded upon the mission to support academic growth through mentorship and compassion, in order to assist students in navigating their future. School is daunting to a struggling student, and I am determined to provide a compass driven map. Therefore, I present curriculum that is modified to fit student needs during one-on-one tutoring, or instruct according to school provided materials. Through my approach student progress is guaranteed; however, advancement is dependent on student ability, developmental maturity, and content complexity.
