I have retired after 40 years of teaching math at two schools in New Orleans. I am now tutoring students in grades 4 - 10 and am working on mild-moderate, 6th - 12th, certification.

Laws of Exponents: Powerpoint and Lesson Handout
This bundle contains a Powerpoint (28 slides) and a six-page student handout. The handout mirrors the presentation Powerpoint with the same lecture material, examples, and practice problems. The Powerpoint has an answer key for the practice problems. The material is presented in four "chunks:" exponents with numerical bases, multiplication and division with powers, raising powers to powers, and zero and negative exponents.
