About the store
I am passionate about helping both teachers and students learn.
I' have been teaching for 16 years. The first 8 years were in 9th and 10th grade English classrooms, and then I began teaching with homeschool co-ops and community organizations. I have been using the classical method for four years with Classical Conversations, and now use Claritas-Publishing as the backbone for curriculum creation. I am ready to share my curriculum contributions to help others along the classical journey.

Teaching style
As stated, these materials are designed to support the classical method but can be woven into the traditional classroom setting or alongside common-core. Adding memory work to the daily routine takes almost no time. It is interactive and if done well, involves kinesthetic movement! Simultaneously, classical memory work gives students greater depth and range of vocabulary, tools for communication, and knowledge that can be networked with other information more quickly, at a time when their brains are forming new neural pathways rapidly. In this fashion even young children can aquire scholarly information!
