This Jeopardy game covers the following topics: Operations with DecimalsOrder of OperationsPercentsDividing FractionsLong DivisionThis is a PowerPoint game that aligns with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study for 6th grade math/Quarter 2. Students can play whole-class or in small groups.

In this activity, students will create their own weather instrument, measure the weather using the instrument, and create a report. This can be used as a summative assessment, exploration for students, or at-home project.

This activity is a culminating activity after students have learned about the body systems. Students choose an illness and explore how the illness affects the body systems. Students will be using technology and literature provided by the teacher to research this illness and make a final presentation. Rubric and checklist is provided for students.

I have students bring in a bag of candy with the price that they paid ATTACHED to the candy (I put sticky notes with prices). I have students get into groups and complete the attached PowerPoint. Use this spreadsheet for progress monitoring your students and documentation for struggling students. Also, there is a resource for some extra practice for review. Many uses for this tool. Students could use it as a self-evaluation tool or teachers could use it to follow students' progress in the standards.
