About the store
I have been teaching for the last ten years, but if you ask others, they'll tell you I've been teaching since I was 7! I have taught K, 2, 3, 4, and 5th grades throughout my time in the classroom. I have also taught in both the private and public school sector. As I enter my 11th year in education, I will begin a new adventure in the world of instructional coaching. I'm very excited about this opportunity! However, I still plan to make and share my resources!

Reading Raffle Tickets - Reading Incentive

I use these tickets to motivate my students to complete their reading logs. Every time a student completes a reading log, he/she is given a ticket. Once a month, we have a "Reading Raffle." I raffle off brand new books I've purchased myself (or with points through Scholastic). The kids LOVE this and it really motivates them to complete those reading logs! *I'd also be happy to edit the tickets if you have another use (mastering math facts, turning in homework, etc.).

Based on The 2 Sisters' book, The Daily Five, I have been using the Daily 3 (Read to Self, Work on Writing and Word Work)in my classroom (mainly because we don't have 90 minute literacy blocks at my school).
