I use this worksheet as practice with my 7th/8th grade students when discussing radioactive decay. There are a few different methods all on the same worksheet, but I have found they like the table method best. One file contains the practice; the other file has my notes/answer key on it.
Oreo Cell Cycle Lab I created for my classroom. (Not my own idea, just my own version.) Comes complete with a link to a google form, which is editable once you make your own copy. Does not include answer key (other google form, which is set up like a quiz).
Mitosis Onion Root-Tip Digital Lab. For use in conjunction with microscope slides, but can also be used as a stand-alone. (Images are embedded of each stage of the cell cycle to help with questions.) Product includes self-grading for quicker feedback/turn-around.
3 part webquest used as an introduction to the cell cycle. Key is older as I have updated the resource, but still aligns (just ignore the book part at the front).
Mitosis/Cell Cycle Quiz comes complete with answer key. Assesses knowledge of parts of the cell cycle as well as images. 2 print versions available. In my classroom, I use both, alternating between students to discourage cheating.
From the PBS Documentary series about Evolution, a set of 18 questions for the students to focus on as they watch the video. Answer key is included to review after. Video can be found via Youtube when searching for it.
Google form used in conjunction with online video about Protein Synthesis (via YouTube). Perfect for: • Distance Learning • Absent students • Flipped Classroom • Summative Assessment • Exit “Ticket” • Pop Quiz Link for a fully editable google form containing 10 multiple choice questions.
4 different types of Friction foldable. I always have my students fold on the dotted lines, cut on the solid ones. Primary use is in an interactive notebook, but can also be used as a stand alone. Current key is handwritten. May be able to type up a key at a later date.
Outline for a 3D Plant or Animal Cell along with rubric for each. File is left in Word form so that you can tweak things as needed (for example, book pages to reference).
