Character Through Goal SettingLesson series for the character trait “self discipline” and the PYP Learner Profile “thinker.” Explores goal setting K-5. Includes SIX Lessons:K-1: Students will explore self discipline (strive to be thinkers) through goal setting. Students will be able to define the word “goal” and identify concrete goals. 2-3: Students will explore self discipline (strive to be thinkers) through goal setting. Students will be able to identify proper steps to reach a larger goal.

I have been district Elementary Counselor of the year, North Carolina Elementary Counselor of the year, and received my National Board Certification in 2009. I received the RAMP (Recognized ASCA Model Program) award for comprehensive school counseling in 2008.
