About the store
I help individuals improve their health and wellbeing so they can actively pursue a life full of love, connectedness, joy, contentment, awareness, wonder, meaning and purpose - a life that includes moving and nourishing their body, being confident in who they are and accepting themselves, experiencing peace and calm as well as nurturing relationships with others. I have an undergraduate degree in Secondary Education. And, although I've taught at the secondary and post-secondary level, I fell in love with being a researcher, and now also a health coach. As a social scientist with a background in education, recreation and behavioral health, my primary focus is on identifying, creating, sharing and/or implementing resources that will assist in improving individuals' health and wellbeing. I am the Principal and Lead Researcher at 4B Strategies (4bstrategies.com), a research and strategy group working with non-profit organizations and educators to provide evidence-based assessments; and I'm also the founder and Health Coach at CourLife with Dr. Amy Thayer (courlife.com), a platform dedicated to health and wellbeing, primarily for mid-life women.

My own education history

I have earned a B.S. in Secondary Education, English and Communications from the University of Dayton; an M.S.R.A. (Master of Science in Recreation Administration) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; and a Ph.D. in Human Nutrition, Foods & Exercise from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).
