Teaching style
I like to make class fun - singing songs and coming up with silly mnemonic devices to remember difficult concepts; bringing out manipulatives and letting the students interact with math through Daily Math Centers.
Awards & shining teacher moments
Shining Teacher Moment: Every year when former students come back to visit me. I love that my students still act like little kids when seeing their Elementary teachers :) It's a good feeling to know that even the toughest of Middle School kids can still melt into a 10 year old when they see their former teachers.
My own education history
