Lines Song - Parallel, Perpendicular, & Intersecting Lines!

Created by
Cove's Corner
This is a song you can teach your students so they can easily remember what Parallel, Perpendicular, and Intersecting Lines look like. I've included a couple different colors and fonts for you to choose which one you like best. Please don't judge the grammar! I know some of it doesn't match up with the plural and singular words, but it's the only way I could think of to make the rhyming and syllables kinda work out :) Please rate me - I'd love to hear your feedback!

About the store

Experience

3 years in 4th & 5th Grade Math & Science

Teaching style

I like to make class fun - singing songs and coming up with silly mnemonic devices to remember difficult concepts; bringing out manipulatives and letting the students interact with math through Daily Math Centers.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Shining Teacher Moment: Every year when former students come back to visit me. I love that my students still act like little kids when seeing their Elementary teachers :) It's a good feeling to know that even the toughest of Middle School kids can still melt into a 10 year old when they see their former teachers.

My own education history

B.S. in Psychology and B.S. in Sociology from Texas A&M with a Teaching Certificate.

Additional biographical information

I have left the classroom, but I am still avidly involved in education. I tutor struggling learners every week and, when I have free time, I create learning activities that are posted here.
