This foldable is intended to help students learn the key words that will help them start to write and decipher algebraic expressions. Two versions of the inside of the foldable are available - the first (page 2) is blank for students to write their own keywords in each section. The second (page 3) is filled out for the students - can be used as a completed copy of class notes, etc. The middle of the foldable provides practice opportunities for students to begin using the keywords from the notes.
This foldable is intended for student notes/interactive journal. This provides a visual for students to remember that they can use a factor "tree" to find the prime factorization of a number. I included an example of how I would use this resource - I put "fruit" on the outside of the tree with some of the most common prime numbers (2, 3, 5, 7...) that students will see and a "rotten fruit" on the ground with the number 1 inside because it is not a prime number, thought students may be tempted to
