Teaching style

I believe in a hands-on approach that varies in styles and approaches. Each student learns in a different style, therefore information cannot be presented in one way. Teaching should engage students in auditory, visual, and kinesthetic approaches. Lessons and activities need to be geared towards the appropriate level and capabilities of the child. As an old chinese proverb says, "Tell me and I'll forget, involve me and I'll understand."
