This is a last-minute activity to give to your students about the New Year's resolutions (and balancing two good things that happened in 2020, after all, we must see the bright side of the things! Why not using your lessons to show them that?). They can do this worksheet during the class or ask them to do at home and ask them to share with the friends later, as a speaking task.

This is a short text about cats and some questions to help your students to understand the text. This is a resource I always use when explaining wishes through the verb WANT and the different grammar structures if it's followed by a verb or a noun. There are examples and exercises (that can be explored during the explanation and there is a freer practice that can be explored after the grammar explanation and let students create the sentences on their own ideas!).
