This activity incorporates math into your Word Work rotation for The Daily 5. Students use their spelling list or word study list to find the "price" of their words. This product includes a recording sheet that can be printed on the back of the ABC price key. It can be used as an individual activity or projected on an interactive whiteboard as a whole class activity.

These apple puzzles can be EDITED. The uses for this product are endless! Add your student's names to do name practice. Plug in numbers and your students can practice ordering numbers or skip counting. Use different fonts to practice letter identification. The list goes on.... TO USE: Simply download the product and open in Adobe or another PDF reader. Click on the fill in spaces to add your text. Save or print! Print on red, green or yellow paper to really draw students' attention.

Students use the key to help them sign the letters for spelling words or word study words. A partner writes down the letters on the recording sheet as they are signed. This activity can be used during the Word Work rotation for Daily 5 or as a small group center activity.
