This is an interactive social story that assists children in building social skills. Pictures of animals, zookeeper, and letters will ideally be laminated and VELCRO should be applied in order to allow for items to be removable and used for interaction. This social story not only addresses how to initiate interactions, it also allows for practice of spelling names, matching, pretend play, and requesting of high-fives (for appropriate requesting/touching of peers). This is a simple break card that allows for the choice of sitting on the couch, taking deep breaths, counting to 10, and drinking water. Print, cut, laminate, and add Velcro for the best outcome!
