A great way to reinforce and practice your ruler skills!
This PowerPoint shows different objects next to a ruler. Your students have to read the ruler and figure out the length. They will encounter measurements up to 1/4". Also included are objects starting at other positions on the ruler.

This PowerPoint can be used with the whole class or as an individual computer station. Simply choose from the menu, read the clock(s), say the time, then check your answer by using your arrow key or simply clicking the screen.

After spending 30 hours in a common core math training and spending a year teaching common core, I sat down over the course of 3 months and created an assessment that covers each of the common core standards.

The game board is fully interactive. When you select a number, it will disappear, leaving only the remaining numbers in the game. There is also a scoreboard so the students can keep track of the number of questions they have asked.
