This is a ten page thanksgiving math packet for students to complete over the long weekend. The activities are geared to 1st-3rd grade students and focus primarily on numbersense, multiplication, place value and money. The activities themselves are not thanksgiving related.

This packet includes 42 supplemental worksheets focused on multiplication and the times table facts. Worksheets are designed to help students achieve mastery of the facts as well as develop a deeper understanding of the concept of multiplication. Sheets are designed to be printed copied and cut in half. See preview for examples of some of the activities.

This packet provides additional practice with the 3.nbt.2 standard which focuses on adding and subtracting multi-digit numbers with strategies. Activities include using number lines to add and subtract numbers and decomposing addends in a variety of ways. I am a math coach at a k-6 school and created these materials to be used by my classroom teachers

This is a collection of 30 two sided sheets with test prep items counting down the last 30 days until state testing. The items are designed specifically for 4th grade students but could be useful with some 3rd or 5th grade students. The items cover a wide range of material to review and prepare students to be successful on state tests.

In these activities students are challenged to figure out the value of each shape. Once students give a value to a shape that shape must keep that value (same shape=same number). There are puzzles with a variety of difficult levels. I will post more difficult puzzles as the school year progresses.

These sheets allow students to count and manipulate change. Students are challenged to count an amount of change and then show the same amount using different coins. This helps students with the concept that there are multiple correct ways to show a given amount it also allows them to practice using the strategy of trading lesser value coins in for higher value coins. This is a pack of 13 activity sheets with answer keys focused on helping students develop a deeper understanding of addition as well as practice applying their knowledge of addition. Students will be engaged in critical thinking, mental math and estimation. Their are 13 sheets and each sheet has an answer key. The activity sheets are designed for use with 3rd and 4th grade age students but could be appropriate for younger or alder students depending on their math development. These are excel

This is for a one week set of daily number sense activities for 3rd or 4th grade students. This weeks activities focus on the concepts of multiplication, division and place value. Students are engaged with the same types of problems all week long so they develop a familiarity while gaining a deeper understanding of the concepts. Students are also engaged in making arrays to review the 2 times tables in a conceptual context. I will continue to provide additional weeks each week of the school
