This research project challenges students to pick a modern social issue that is important to them, learn more about them, and present on the topic. Examples include voting rights, gender equality, antiracism, and more. This project is intended to take place over the course of several weeks and students will produce a slideshow presentation by the end. It can be adapted to be accessible for younger students, but the primary audience is middle and high school students.
