This year I am lucky enough (I think!) to have a bathroom in my classroom. I created this product to help control the times that students ask to go to the bathroom. As always, there are special situations and circumstances that warrant a student to have to go more often than others. I have designated times that students can go to the bathroom such as during indoor recess, during centers, lunch time, after breakfast, when they are doing independent work at the tables (readers and writers works

Teaching style

As a teacher, I provide a fun and enriching environment that enables my students to have a growing desire to become lifelong learners. I employ structure in my classroom using routines and procedures to help my students feel comfortable and confident. Students learn from each other if given an environment that balances structure and interactive learning. My classroom environment encourages academic interaction, discussion, and inquiry. Effective learning requires collaboration between the teacher, students, and parents grounded in mutual respect and trust. It is my goal to improve student achievement with quality instruction that prepares our children to influence the future. Watching the children as their light bulbs illuminate is the greatest reward of all.
