These are signs / labels created for my classroom to assign a name & color to my table groups in the art classroom. With the younger students I just refer to the labels by color and with older students the color with artist name. The labels are 6"x3". You can post these on the tables, on the baskets or storage units used for each table, or hung above the table from the ceiling. It's up to you!
The file includes:
Orange DaVincis
Red Matisses
Yellow Warhols
Green Pollocks
Blue Van Goghs
Purple Pic
This file is sized to print as a 7"x9" full color card. I keep about 12 of these cards on hand for my students to use as resources. They come in handy when discussing works of art, color theory and color mixing.
I recommend printing these on 80# or 100# card stock and then laminating them, so they will be durable for longer use.
The wonderful thing about downloading this file is if some of your cards get lost of ruined, you just have to print more, not order more from a catalog!

The Art Inquiry Cycle was something I created for my classroom because I wanted my students to see a visual of the creative cycle. I wanted them to see how we as artists and IB students work through the inquiry cycle or creative process. "Reflect" is in the middle to show that through each stage of the process artists and IB students reflect on their progress and determine whether they are ready to move forward or need to revisit a previous stage in the cycle. This pdf is a 16"x24" poster with a full bleed designed by me for my elementary art class to state the rules for the room. I worked with my students to develop these rules. Our school is a IB-PYP school so instead of saying "Rules" we say "Essential Agreement." If you would like to have the poster to say "Rules" or something else I can create another listing, no problem. I highly recommend sending this file to be printed at your local Kwik Kopy or Kinkos for the best printing results.
