This book includes all of the first grade sight words along with Kindergarten words for review. At my school site, we've begun using it as a precurser to the Accelerated Reader program. Our Kindergarteners begin with the "Kindergarten Sight-Word" book, which includes 176 words, then move on to this book. A simple QR code activity for letter recognition! Students are directed to scan the QR code and then color the matching pumpkin on their worksheet. Capital letters are on the pumpkins in a white font and are lowercase in black on the printable page. :) Enjoy!

36 sight words are practiced by using dice from the Dollar Tree or a pencil and paper clip to spin! :) Students can either spin the spinner or roll the die and then trace/write the corresponding sight word in the appropriate box. When they reach the top of one word, they are done! :)
