About the store

I have always wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a little girl. Before I began teaching I started out as an assistant in a preschool classroom. I enjoyed those times with the little ones, but knew I wanted to teach older kids. I have had experience teaching 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and was an ELL Lead/Coordinator. While being an ELL Lead/Coordinator I had the privilege of teaching k-8th grade. I have enjoyed all of my experiences with all students! I love my job!!

Choose Two Ways is a product that you can give to kids during a math lesson or center. This product is specific to solving a multiplication problem two different ways. Students choose two ways to solve the multiplication problem by circling their methods to solve the problem. Students will then solve their problem in the given rectangle and circle. On the second page students will compare and contrast their methods by writing a response. It is a good way to see students using multiple ways to so

Teaching style

I believe in the inclusion of all students. I firmly believe that building relationships is the core of the classroom. Students will give their all in the classroom when they trust their teacher and classmates. I enjoy doing all things in the classroom to build trust, relationships and solid classroom management. Engagement, collaboration and fun are key to a successful classroom. I love to create, teach and lead.

My own education history

Undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary studies-Elementary Education with an emphasis in Multicultural studies and a minor in Multicultural Anthropology. I received my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction along with my Linguistically Diverse Education endorsement.
