This TinkerCAD project is a great way to challenge beginner 3D-modelers to demonstrate their skillset! Students are tasked with 3D-modeling a building of their choice in TinkerCAD. They must choose at least 4 basic tools/skills that they want to demonstrate in their building design. As an assessment, students must summarize their use of each tool and how it is incorporated to their design. It is suggested that students complete the TinkerCAD starter tutorials before attempting this project.

This activity is a great STEM resource for teachers looking to introduce technical drawing in a fun and artistic way! The assignment exposes students to the use of graphing paper to make a scaled-down bedroom blueprint. They must produce a dimensionally accurate bedroom blueprint with 6 required furniture items inside. They are also given the freedom to add in 3 items of their choice, allowing for creative personalization! It is suggested that teachers demonstrate how to calculate the size of th
