Experience

I have been teaching kindergarten in a Catholic K-8 school for 16 years.

Teaching style

I believe in the power of hands on experiences. I try to blend modern technology and techniques with old-fashioned, time tested activities. My students spend time in direct instruction, small group centers and independent work. I also incorporate many ideas of Power Teaching to ensure my students are engaged and involved in their learning.

My own education history

2008 graduate of St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI. My Bachelors of Arts degree is in Early/Middle Childhood Education, and I am certified to teach children birth through age 11.
