Hello! I created this product to review composing a teen number or double-digit number with my kindergarteners. I have added alternative options to help differentiate or fit your needs for advanced students. Students will represent or write the number in standard form, quick draw, place value, expanded form, base ten blocks, word form, ten frames, and write a number sentence. There is also 2 types of writing papers and a cover paper (blank bunny) that can be glued on top of the writing or math
Shake and spill is such a fun game to use in kindergarten and first grade to help with composing and decomposing numbers. It's a hands-on activity so these worksheets can be used in a dry-erase pocket in order to be used over and over again. I created worksheets at different levels to meet different needs, beginning with decomposing 5. I also included a recording sheets for advanced students who can play the game with a partner independently. Have fun and enjoy!
I created this resource when I couldn't find anything that matched my vision. I wanted something simple and easy with neat numbers that weren't too small or too large. I made these for my kindergarteners and they'd use them daily. Mostly, they'd use them in a dry-erase pocket sleeve and practice writing their numbers with a dry erase marker. On occasion, they'd use crayons to rainbow-write or use another fun color scheme. However you choose to use them in your classroom or at home, these can ma
Students will represent or write the number in standard form, quick draw, place value, expanded form, base ten blocks, word form, ten frames, and write a number sentence. There is also a cover paper (blank shamrock) that can be glued on top of the math crafts or to decorate your bulletin boards, doors, or windows. In addition, there is a "We ShamROCK at math!" shamrock to utilize for decor. Hope this is a fun activity that your students will enjoy!
I designed these valentine cards for my autistic daughter. There are two color options (valentine colors) and a black and white option. I think the black and white option is a great choice for saving ink or for students to color their own valentine cards. These cards can be printed for your students or can be passed out in your child's class. Personally, I'll be adding a matching sticker that I also designed. You're welcome to find more of my stickers and creations on etsy @lost_in_lunartsy.
I shared this resource with the school librarian when she created a special reading event and she loved it. It's a great way for students to share their love for reading and make book recommendations while also appreciating friendship. In addition, the primary lining makes it easy for the younger students to participate in the writing aspect of the activity.
These cute and "punny" Valentine's Day cards are perfect for teachers to give as gifts to their students. They're also great for your own child to pass out to their classmates. The black and white version can be utilized to help save on ink. In addition, this version offers an opportunity for a fun activity in class or at home for students, as they can color in their cards and create their own colorful chameleon. A color version is also included. Now they come 2 sizes! 6 to a sheet or 8 to a sh

These worksheets were designed to help students sort and compare numbers. My students enjoy cut and paste activities so adding this element to mathematics encouraged them to engage more with the material. I often have to differentiate in my first-grade classroom so I created different options to help meet the needs of some students or challenge others. I hope this helps your students as much as it helped mine!
Students can decorate eggs and decide how many to add to their basket. Next, they'll fill in the blankets in the word problem and create a number sentence with their addends!
I created this spelling test to accompany the sound mapping strategy that we use in the classroom. Each box represents a sound and the star word is an additional word to challenge and motivate the students.
