This is a jigsaw strategy to get students to analyze cluster questions in a group and then teach other students about their questions. Clusters are not included, but can be taken from previous Regents exams.
Students will collaborate to create a life-sized, anatomically accurate illustration of a designated human body system. Beyond identifying core structures and functions, students must research systemic interactions that maintain homeostasis, as well as the pathology of one related disease. The project culminates in a peer-to-peer classroom presentation. To ensure active listening and engagement, audience members will complete a "Body System Tour" synthesis worksheet during each presentation.
