I use this for my 7th graders as a review form 6th grade. I go over the definitions and refresh their minds on how to solve the problems. This is a one page notes with 4 word problems.

I introduce variability using the amount of ice cream flavors. Then have a classroom discussion about what variability means .

I give the students the first page and check that one first. Once all answers are correct, I hand them the coloring page.

Guided fill in the blank notes and practice

These notes takes them through definitions and has 2 pages of practice .

These notes are fill in the blank notes. Each property comes with an illustration that helps students relate to what the property means. * In the Associative property the teacher will put parenthesis where they show that the characters associate * In the Distributive property the teacher will show how the angry bird launches to each term inside the parenthesis The last page shows students how to factor out expressions.

These are two pages . One has adding integers with number lines and the second shows adding integers with counters. I use this as notes and examples to place in the students journal.
