This is a great material to use with Articles such as Weekly Reader or Time For Kids. I have the kids label each feature in the article with a sharpie. Then, they use this paper to write about what information that have learned, using the text feature. I have used this whole group, small group and even as an assessment!

I use this seed journal for students to record their results from our experiment. We grew seeds in light and seeds without light (in the closet). Great experiment that shows how sick the seedling is when we take away one of the basic needs.
