I've used this with grades K-5th, but obviously you have to read the text aloud to the younger kiddos and provide a little extra assistance if they don't know the letters of their names yet. Simple, all-in-one printable activity that teaches your students how to draw some of the most well known Egyptian symbols and the meaning behind them! If you're an art teacher like me, you might want to follow it up the way that I have and have them trace their final design onto styrofoam printing plates for an easy printmaking project (I like to use gold printing ink on black paper).
