These are all of my favorite elements of art visuals that I've designed. This bundle includes one of each of the 7 (color, line, shape, form, texture, value, and space), plus one that in education, illustrative font show students all 7, as well as an extra color wheel (so you can pick your favorite) and a line visual for littles! I like to laminate these and affix them to the art tables or use them as "placemats" for messy art projects. I also blow these up into posters that are always hanging.
One page activity based on the Mimbres pottery of the southwest. Students learn a little about the tradition designs and imagery used and are then asked to use a pottery sherd as the foundation of their design, extrapolating from the lines to imagine what the bowl might have once looked like whole. Tired of searching for the perfect color wheel visual, I decided to make my own! As clear and simple as I could make it, this color wheel shows the neutral and rainbow colors and labels the primary, secondary, cool and warm, as well as the formulas for mixing the primary colors into the secondary colors!
