Birds in a Row Math Center- One more, One less
Here is a cute way to have your students practice one less and one more. There are 20 task cards with two digit numbers within 100 on them. Student need to figure out the number that comes before and after that number, and then write all three numbers on the recording sheet.
These cards can be used in may ways- as a math center, as a scoot, or as a small group activity.

Monster Subtraction Scoot Around the Room
Here is a cute way to have students practice their -1, -2, & -3 subtraction facts. I love how motivated they get to find all the cards and that it gives them a chance to move around the room. You simply print and put up the cards around the room. Each card has a subtraction sentence. The students get a recording sheet to go around and write down the answers.

Ten Buddy Task Cards
Here are ten buddy task cards that are camping themed. There are 12 cards in all. Each card is missing one ten buddy. You simply tape them up around the room in random order, and the students go around and write the number sentence down on their recording sheet.

Teaching style
I've been told I'm very calm and even keeled. I don't always feel that way! I really enjoy teaching and I like to make connections with the students. I think it's important for them to know you truly care about them and how they do. I like to create a classroom that's fun, very organized, and where students feel comfortable sharing answers and ideas even if they aren't correct or are different.
