About the store

Experience

Learning by doing is at the heart of this Teachers Pay Teachers store! With 18 years of classroom experience, I create engaging, hands-on resources that make learning interactive, meaningful, and fun. Whether you're looking for integrated lessons, creative activities, or classroom games, you'll find resources designed to inspire both teachers and students.

Teaching style

I strive to teach my students that learning is all around us—woven into everyday experiences, the communities where we live, in conversations, and interactions. Whether it's exploring nature, solving real-world problems, or discovering new perspectives through art, history, and technology, education extends far beyond the classroom. My resources reflect this ideology and encourage students to look, listen, and reflect on the world around them. I design my materials to spark curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, while making sure they are structured time savers for busy teachers.

My own education history

I am a certified k-12 art teacher with 19 years of teaching experience in the high school classroom and have a BFA from the University of Southern Maine in Art Education with a concentration in Art History. In addition to my time in the classroom, I am an active community educator designing educational materials for the State of Maine as well as teaching ceramics and agricultural education initiatives.

Additional biographical information

Hi, I'm Marcia! I am an artist, educator, wife, and busy mom of three living in Maine. As a classroom teacher, I have taught a wide range of studio courses, from beginner to advanced, with a focus on fiber arts, ceramics, and photography. Additionally, I have spent years teaching both introductory and advanced art classes, including AP Art. Beyond studio courses, I have also taught non-studio subjects, such as a community-centered environmental and agriculture course, as well as art history. Through all of my experiences, I have learned that no subject exists in isolation—we are all connected! As art teachers, we see these connections, and I want to use my expertise to share resources that help you integrate art into your classrooms in a stress-free, uncomplicated way. Whether you teach art or another subject, my resources are designed to save you time so you can focus on your students.
