About the store
Welcome! My teaching journey started back in 2001, with a little group of 1st graders. Next, I spent two years teaching 5th grade in a classical education setting. I dedicated the following years to raising my own three kids and supporting them through homeschool, public school, and private school. During that time I also tried my hand at church ministry, tutoring, substituting, and even working in a school computer lab. I recently stepped back into the classroom, teaching 5th grade again. There I discovered a whole new world of curriculum and technology and of course, Teachers Pay Teachers! While I love working with kids, my heart is consistently pulled toward home. So, I'm home once again and putting my creative talents to work to support YOU!

Teaching style

I don't believe in "one size fits all" when it comes to education. I DO believe learning can be fun when it's intentional and engaging!

My own education history

I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Additional biographical information

I come from a family full of teachers! I live with my husband, my daughter, my two sons, and my cat.
