About the store

Experience

I've taught for 10 years, and been an academic coordinator for my school for the last 3 years.

Teaching style

I teach at a PYP school, melding the IB framework into our local curriculum. I believe in supporting strong foundational skills through explicit instruction and hands on playful learning experiences, while still allowing plenty of space for student inquiry. I aim to make my teaching as conceptual as possible, focusing on big ideas and cross curricular connections. I believe in keeping teacher as transdisciplnaray as possible by moving away from traditional subject areas, and instead grouping content piece together by overarching concepts.

I have taught mainly primary grades, however I collaborate with teachers from K to 7 in my job as a coordinator
