These are the most current list of books that share the Celebrate a Nation of Diverse Readers theme. Students can enjoy creative time when they color their own egg. Have them color the egg that is included (instructions incl), or have them use the clipart & shapes to custom design their egg. In the book P. Zonka Lays an Egg, by Julie Paschkis, the hen lays an egg that reflects what colors she loves and enjoys throughout her life.
