About the store
Having worked as a software engineer for IT consultancy firm, it helped me develop a lot of skills in corporate teamwork, time management and project management. After over 10 years in the role, I decided to start my own company in STEM education, helping young children in develop technical and social confidence, team-work, and overall self-efficacy. I specialise in LEGO Education and paper circuits, although would love to delve more into more areas of STEM. I use LEGO Education in my in-person workshops that I run during school (incursions) and after-schools. From here, I've diversified to running birthday parties, enriching the elderly and corporate team building events.

Teaching style

The STEM pedagogy is all about hands-on experiential learning. My teaching principle is: Tell me and I forget Show me and I remember Involve me and I learn Children truly learn if they have EXPERIENCED the task, tested it, and improved it. I am passionate about helping children, in particular girls, become confident learners so they are not afraid of making mistakes. That way, they are empowered to navigate difficulties, problem-solve and in turn become successful adults.

Awards & shining teacher moments
