Creative Publishing

This book review is designed to help students get started on writing a book review that includes a summary, an opinion, and recommendation. There is also a section where students can write down vocabulary that was new to them. The student can then transfer the information for a final draft.

This digital book review is a guided book review using google slides. The template is designed to be used as guide using sample sentence starters. The main sections are titled, plot summary, rising action, climactic/ turning point, resolution, theme, opinion, recommendation, vocabulary, illustration. Each slide can be edited and adapted to your grade level once a copy is made. A suggested grading system is a point system for each of the titled sections.

This reading log is designed to keep track of minutes and books read. Parent and teacher signatures are included on this form to keep students accountable.
