About the store
I have been teaching elementary art in an Urban School district in Ohio since 2003. In 2006, I was asked to help write the curriculum for the district's elementary art department. Then in 2007, I was asked to clean up all of the curriculum lessons and appendices, create a timeline and integrate standards. In the following years I streamlined timelines for the rest of the visual art department. Through this process, I discovered my love of technology and how valuable it was in my own teaching style. Throughout the years I have created my own worksheets and handouts on the computer for students because the copier was jammed or there was a long line. Or simply there wasn't a worksheet out there so I created my own. I have been told that teachers could use what I make so I hope my work benefits your lessons and teaching.

Microsoft Word 2010- Lesson 4 (Creating a Report)
This lesson builds on Microsoft Word 2010 Lesson 3 (Spell Check & Thesaurus) At this point students should be able to: Insert clip art, format images, and wrap text next to or around images.
This Bundle Includes:
1. Three research worksheets that guide students when they are researching their topic.
2. Step by Step procedure to creating a research report.

2. Use the Thesaurus. This function isn't as simple as spell check because one can't use click on a word to replace the current word.

Teaching style
There must be a balance of foundation and play. I design lessons to challenge students to solve problems, design, create and at the same time give them confidence and awareness of the world around them.

My own education history
I have a Bachelors and Masters of Art Education from The Ohio State University.
With the educational changes from standards to common core, and focus on project-based learning, I have participated in numerous professional learning on how to incorporate SCIENCE, MATH, and TECHNOLOGY in art lessons without losing the ART. Hence STEAM.
