Teaching style

Sue and Lue have always followed two rules when creating materials for teachers: 1. Make learning fun for the students. 2. Make it easy for the teachers to use. It is with those two things in mind, that they have put together the "Best of the Bunch" - teacher-created and classroom-tested ideas and activities!

Additional biographical information

Sue lives in Santa Rosa, California, with her husband, David. She is a long time educator who regularly volunteers in today's classrooms. She is active in her community and mentors high school students, helping them to prepare for college. Lue was a passionate teacher, caring mother, and beloved grandmother. She loved being a teacher and inspiring students to love learning. Her passion for making a difference prompted her to start Creative Teaching Press over 50 years ago. Today, CTP continues to provide quality educational products that inspire teachers and students around the world. In her retirement years, Lue loved helping in classrooms, spending time in her garden, and volunteering at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden.
