Teaching style

MY TEACHING STYLE I am tech heavy and focus on activities that allow students to learn how to work in groups. No matter their age, being able to successfully communicate and solve problems collectively in a group setting is an essential skill for every student. I specialize in project-style activities and plenty of interactive digital resources in my daily curriculum.

My own education history

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY B.S. in Business Administration and Law (minors in Spanish and Accounting) from Western Carolina University in North Carolina. Texas Teachers Certificate Graduate and Bilingual Certified. NCO (SGT) in the ARMY Reserves.

Additional biographical information

I am originally from Puerto Rico and grew up mostly in North Carolina. I attended WCU, a small town college nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains. I initially wanted to become a teacher then changed my mind and focused on Business Admin with the hopes of going to Law school. Once I graduated I moved to Puerto Rico and worked at an Accounting firm...soon realized I prefer being around kids, so I decided to go back to school. I moved to Texas in 2015, earned my teaching certification, and have been teaching every since. I joined the U.S. Army Reserves in 2016 and became a Non Commissioned Officer soon after. I'm currently still teaching and fulfilling my military duties every month.
