Creative Thinking Corner

Have some fun enriching the meaning of fractions with this creative thinking comic strip activity! I also included a skeleton lesson plan on one of the slides that you can follow to help guide creative thinking!

Use these two notes pages as a whole group or small group lesson to kickstart your fractions unit! I used these as a whole group lesson, and we color coded the parts of a fraction!

Turk and Runt is such a cute book! After reading this with your kiddos, it's the perfect opportunity to explore the expression and acceptance of others opinions/thoughts. There are two types of feathers. One set of feathers has lined feathers for littles. The other set are blank. I would suggest having extra copies of feathers as I can see some kiddos needing/wanting to make more than 3. :) I would also make some blank copies on colored paper for fillers in case.
