I spent 10 years teaching grades K-3. I have been a literacy specialist for three years. I love creating fun and exciting activities that will develop children into becoming lifelong readers!
Teaching style
My teaching style is to instill the passion for learning in my students. In order to develop life-long learners, you have to make the learning process fun. I am also a strong supporter of using differentiated instruction. I currently work as a Literacy Collaborative Coach and Reading Recovery Teacher. Many of the activities are under the umbrella of the Literacy Collaborative Program.
