I am nothing if not eclectic.
I have taught in private schools in the US, Vietnam, and Ecuador, as well as at a university in Mexico.
As a Washington State native, I continually revisit my roots. Recently, I had the pleasure of teaching at an IB Private school in Bellevue.
Previously, I taught Language Arts in Arizona.
I have also taught Adult Education in Grant writing, reading, the ACT & TOEFL test taking, and writing fiction.
I am currently a PHD student at California Institute of Integral Studies where we consider the spaces where the intersectionality of thought systems can coexist in conversation.

Hiroshima by John Hersey
These questions encompass the book as a whole rather than by chapter. Students are then to choose one area of interest and find artifacts, to support their knowledge to turn in with the questions.

Pronunciation is a key component of the EFL classroom.
While teaching English in Vietnam, I found this tool to be especially helpful when students are practicing at home. It helps them prepare for those pesky Oral Exams.
It includes 7 basic rules we English speakers often take for granted that they have learned before they entered the classroom. They are expertly translated into Vietnamese.
This form is A4 and makes a great bookmark.

Interactive Activities for TOEFL Vocabulary
This product is a template created for you to project activity instructions for students in simple English for your high school or adult ESL students. Lesson PLan In the cases where a jigsaw or literature circles are the format for book reading, it is helpful to have questions that are universal in nature to check for understanding, make connections between experiences, and develop background knowledge among the entire class. I have used 10 books at a time with these questions. My students were 8th grade, English as a second language. Class time is careful scaffolded to ensure clarity in directions and discussion.
