Creatively Teaching First

This is a FUN and ENGAGING way for students to understand 2D and 3D shapes through hands on learning! Students build 2D and 3D shapes using toothpicks and playdough (can use marshmallows or other candy)! Students will learn to understand a shape's properties by recognizing sides, flat surfaces, edges, and vertices. Please see the preview for everything included! Students will love learning and practicing their 2D and 3D shapes through these hands on math work mats. There are twelve 2D shapes and six 3D shapes included. There is space for students to draw or build the shape, find the shape, and describe the shape. There are 2D shape work mats with and without sides/vertices and 3D shapes with and without faces, edges, and vertices. Shape Work Mats come in in color and black and white!
