I have played several roles in my career, teaching courses ranging from basic math skills remediation to business calculus. I have also worked with pre-service teachers to develop research-based lessons as they work toward licensure. I am now looking for ways to share my content with others!

I use a variety of activities that help students learn both concepts as well as procedures in the math classroom. This includes self-checking activities like puzzles and mazes, open activities like card sorts that build on explanation skills, and flexible activities like dominoes. I use a blend of these activities to help make sure that my students have a choice and a voice in demonstrating and building knowledge and skills.

I am a collector of STEM degrees. I have degrees in Chemistry, Actuarial Science, and Mathematics Education. I am working on my dissertation in Mathematics Education, with an emphasis in Statistics.

I am a serial streaming addict! When I need to finish things, I usually pop something on the TV and get to work. Sometimes, you can guess what I was watching by the names in my problems... oops!
