Measurement Around the House!
Find 3 items that can be measured for their LENGTH, WIDTH, or VOLUME! This is a great homework activity for elementary school students. It's far more exciting and interactive than a measurement worksheet. Students will search around their homes and record on the attached sheet 3 items they have discovered.
This project can be easily adapted to an in-class activity where students search the school for items with recorded measurements.
