An innovative and encouraging educator, looking to advance in the effective implementation of technology into secondary science education curriculum. Being motivated, reflective, and creative will promote the continual improvement of my teaching strategies, structures, and pedagogical decisions. My growth mindset will identify failure as a chance to learn. In my career thus far, I have taught and developed curriculum for at least one new course per year. My passion for the teaching profession has inspired me to obtain such accolades as; PLI exemplar cohort, certificates in Google Level II, Microsoft (MIE), IB Bio SL & Comp Sci. HL, etc. Interesting facts about me: I am a self-taught fly fisherman who enjoys the art, challenge, and elegance of fly fishing. Also, snowboarding is a hobby I recently acquired to challenge myself in learning something I never thought I could do. I excel at basketball and baseball, sports with shoes on the ground.
