This is Part 2 of the remote control vehicle investigation. You will need to purchase the accompanying powerpoint that takes you through the investigation step by step. On the worksheet the students can plan their investigation, write a prediction, identify how they can ensure that they conduct a fair test and record their findings and data on a table.
This worksheet accompanies the powerpoint 'Investigating with a robotic arm'. Students will work in teams of two to move ten objects into a tray using their robotic arm. Students make a prediction, record how many objects for ten trials and draw a picture of the investigation.
The students make their own Scribblebots in teams of three. The following websites provide details on how to make a Scribblebot.
