Welcome Teachers!!! This 56-page resource was created to help you introduce numbers 1-10. It can be used in a few different ways. Put the whole booklet in a center, after you have taught all the numbers, as practice and reinforcement. Or...you can have them complete the page with the corresponding number of the day. It can also be used as practice at home. It was created in black and white so that the students can be creative and color it. That's my students' favorite part. I have created

Here's a fun way to have your kindergarteners practice syllables. After saying and clapping the syllables of each picture, students will color the appropriate number of pencils to match. Practice 1, 2, 3, and 4-syllable words.
This activity focuses on word families (-at) and beginning sounds. It has been created to be played using technology which is perfect for distance learning. Students must form the words that are on the front of the popcorn box by dragging the popcorn kernels with the correct letters on them to the top of the box. To extend the activity and add a writing component, students could copy all of the words they formed into their writing notebook.

This packet was created to allow teachers a quick and easy assessment at the beginning of the year. As a 20-year veteran, I wanted to assess my little ones as quickly as possible so that I could begin focusing on their individual needs. This assessment will help you determine where they are in subject areas such as writing, letter identification/ sounds, number identification, colors, shapes, sight words, and coloring from the beginning of the year to the end. It is nothing lengthy or complic

This is a cute activity that I like to do with my students around St. Patrick's Day time. It comes with a black pot, cloud, and coin templates. Kids can get creative with the rainbow folding accordion-style, twirling it, or simply leaving it straight. They can add their own touch with a sun in the corner, grass on the ground, or even a leprechaun! To add a writing component, I add the sentence "If I found a pot of gold.....".
This activity is great for beginning math skills. Your little Einsteins will have fun "mastering the art" of counting to ten and recognizing how ten is made. They can use counters to mark off the blank boxes, then they can write the correct numbers in the blank boxes. If you laminate the pages they can use dry-erase markers and then wipe them off.
