About the store
I am a passionate elementary educator in Texas with 8 years of experience teaching Pre-K through 4th grade in both charter and public school settings. My classroom experience has given me a deep understanding of how young learners grow across developmental stages and how to meet their needs through engaging, accessible instruction. Specializing in English Language Arts, I bring a love of books, storytelling, and literacy into every classroom I enter. I am especially passionate about helping students develop confidence as readers and writers while fostering a lifelong love of learning. Across all grade levels I have taught, my focus has remained the same: creating a welcoming, structured, and supportive classroom where students feel safe, capable, and excited to learn. These experiences directly shape the classroom-tested resources I create for other educators.

Experience

Teaching style

My teaching style is warm, structured, and relationship-centered. I believe children learn best when they feel seen, valued, and supported while also being held to clear expectations. My proudest moments as an educator aren't measured by awards—they're measured by growth. They're the moments when a hesitant reader finds a book they can't put down, when a struggling student discovers confidence in their abilities, or when a classroom community comes together to support one another. Helping children see themselves as capable learners is what inspires me most, and it's a privilege to play a small role in their journey. I celebrate joy, curiosity, and imagination through stories, literacy, and classroom community, while also intentionally building routines, responsibility, leadership, and confidence. Whether I'm teaching Pre-K or upper elementary, my goal is always to create meaningful learning experiences where every child feels capable, confident, and successful.

Awards & shining teacher moments

A highlight of my teaching career was securing grant funding to establish Little Free Libraries for my school community. This project combined two of my greatest passions—literacy and community engagement—by helping increase access to books for students and families beyond the school day. Creating lifelong readers is at the heart of everything I do.
